The following publications and products from US SAILING are recommended for anyone responsible for performing race committee duties.
	*Race Management Handbook* (Purchase at the US SAILING store) Members of US SAILING may download a free PDF version of the Race Management Handbook. 	*The Racing Rules of Sailing* (Purchase at the US SAILING store) Members of US SAILING get a free copy of the rule book when they first join and whenever a new version is released. Anyone can download a free PDF version of The Racing Rules of Sailing from the International Sailing Federation (ISAF) website. The free PDF copy is not convenient for keeping on your boat (get the US SAILING version for that), but it is very convenient for searching or studying the rules on your computer.

Regatta Forms

The following forms are provided for use by PPYC Race Committees and other Regatta Committees. If you find any errors in these forms or know of other forms that need to be added, please contact the PPYC Race Director. If you modify any of these forms for use in PPYC regattas or races, please get approval from the PPYC Vice Commodore and Race Director before using them.

Expense Reimbursement Form
Use this form if you need to be reimbursed for expenditures you make on behalf of PPYC. This form is a required form for all regatta expenses. It should also be used for all other club events. KEEP YOUR RECEIPTS so you can get reimbursed!

Event Report
Use this form to file a summary of the event with the PPYC Board. Please submit the report to the PPYC Treasurer as soon as possible after the event. This form should be used for all PPYC events, not just for regattas.

Race Committee Time Sheets and Score Sheets

PPYC Race Committee Time Sheet (Time-of-Day Method) (PDF) Revised 3/16/2007 Used to record finishing times for individual races. PPYC now uses only time-of-day to record finishes.

Portsmouth Race Scoring Spreadsheet (MS Excel format)--Use this computer spreadsheet to simplify the calculations for Portsmouth races. Requires basic knowledge of MS Excel data sorting, copying and pasting functions.
