Grand Ole Open Regatta
May 1 & 2, 2010
Invitation
Percy Priest Yacht Club cordially invites you and your crew to attend the Grand Ole Open Regatta for Portsmouth Cruisers and One-Design Cruisers on May 1 & 2, 2010. The regatta will be held on J. Percy Priest Lake in Nashville, Tennessee. Land based activities will be held at Hamilton Creek Sailboat
Marina.
Classes:
The following classes are anticipated for this event:
Courses: Both buoy courses and distance courses will be offered. All classes may choose to sail either buoy races or distance races. Buoy races will be assumed for one-design classes and distance races will be assumed for handicap classes unless a class representative
notifies the Race Committee before the end of the final registration period on Saturday that the class has chosen to sail the other course instead.
Racing: There will be as many as five (5) distance course races and eight (8) buoy course races.

Meal Fee: Please note that the meal fee is not optional.
It is separately stated for sales tax purposes only. To participate in the regatta, you must purchase a
meal package for each person on your boat. The meal package
is per person and includes continental breakfast on Saturday
and Sunday and dinner on Saturday.
If you will have guests who are not sailing on your boat, you may
purchase additional meal packages when you register.
Each Meal Fee includes sales tax of $0.42. |

A $5.00 discount is available for US SAILING members. Membership card is required for discount. |

Lunches will not be available through PPYC. Please arrange for your own lunches. |
Please help us plan the regatta by registering in advance online. If you register online, you will save $10.00 and there are no additional forms to fill out at the regatta. Also, no payment is due when you register online; just bring a check to final registration on Saturday. If you register in advance and
later find you can't attend, simply e-mail us and we will cancel your
registration and you will not be charged.
