Due to the possibility of low water
level, for safety reasons all races at the Force Five Regatta will be
buoy course races.
The buoy course races are open to all cruiser and racer/cruiser sailboats
and we encourage everyone to participate.
Percy Priest Yacht Club cordially invites you and your crew to attend the Force Five Regatta for Portsmouth Cruisers and One-Design Cruisers on March 27 & 28, 2010. The regatta will be held on J. Percy Priest Lake in Nashville, Tennessee. Land based activities will be held at Hamilton Creek Sailboat
Marina.

Courses: The Force Five Regatta will be
a buoy course only regatta. There will be no distance courses for the Force Five due to the probability of low water. All courses will be windward/leeward buoy courses. Portsmouth handicap and one-design boats will race on the same buoy course. We encourage all handicap boats to try buoy
course racing.
Racing: There will be as many as eight (8) buoy course races.

Meal Fee: Please note that the meal fee is not optional.
It is separately stated for sales tax purposes only. To participate in the regatta, you must purchase a
meal package for each person on your boat. The meal package
is per person and includes continental breakfast on Saturday
and Sunday and dinner on Saturday.
If you will have guests who are not sailing on your boat, you may
purchase additional meal packages when you register.
Each Meal Fee includes sales tax of $0.42.

Please Register Online and Save $10.00 on the Registration Fee Online registration will be available 3-4 weeks prior to the regatta.
A $5.00 discount is available for US SAILING members. Membership card is required for discount.
Lunches will not be available through PPYC. Please arrange for your own lunches.
Please help us plan the regatta by registering in advance online. If you register online, you will save $10.00 and there are no additional forms to fill out at the regatta. Also, no payment is due when you register online; just bring a check to final registration on Saturday. If you register in advance and
later find you can't attend, simply e-mail us and we will cancel your
registration and you will not be charged.
