Annual July Third Dock Party and Fireworks

All PPYC members are invited to our annual Dock Party and Fireworks on Friday, July 3. The Dock Party will be at at Hamilton Creek Sailboat Marina and the fireworks will be at Nashville Shores. This year, we would like to begin a little earlier than usual to allow more time for rafting up later at Nashville Shores. This is a pot-luck meal with "BYOM" (bring your own meat) to cook on the grill and "BYOB." We will have the grills ready for everyone to cook their own dinner and a table set up in the boathouse for the pot-luck dishes. The grills will be ready for cooking by 5:00 p.m. We would like to leave the dock to head for Nashville Shores by 6:30 p.m. and get anchored before the crowd arrives. After dark, there will be spectacular fireworks provided by Nashville Shores. We hope you can all come.

5th Annual July Fourth Shores & Stripes Boat Parade

Saturday, July 4

Nashville Shores will host the 5th Annual Shores & Stripes Boat Parade on Saturday, July 4. The event is organized by our own Richard Lewis (Captain Hook!). This is a fun event with prizes awarded for the best decorated boat in each category, including Best Sailboat.

The entry fee is only $20 and the proceeds benefit Cumberland River Compact which works to enhance the water quality of the Cumberland River and its tributaries. That includes our own Stones River. Come out and decorate your boat and enjoy the parade on the Fourth. A free lunch and waterpark admission ticket will be provided to each participant. Club Boat Program

PPYC's Club Boat Program now has three boats, the original O'Day 23, a Northstar 500 and a recently acquired Catalina 22. We now have two levels of club boat membership, the Ensign level and Pilot level. Visit the Club Boat Program page for more details.
